Summer Road Race
Program
2007

Highland St. & Asbury St., Hamilton, MA
Sponsored by the Asbury Grove Boosters' Club.
Format: A series of developmental races for all ages with reasonable
entry fees, ribbons to all finishers. Olympic size pool (rebuilt in
1999) (and toddler pool) swimming at night, races for the whole family,
fellowship, results printed in the Grove "Pine Echoes" newsletter.
Playground is 100 yards from the pool. Fellowship is encouraged!!
Age Group Races. Report to the pool area. Cost is $1 per runner for
the season. Ribbons to all finishers.
Age groups:
5 & Under - To the playground and back (200 yards)
8 & Under - To the pump in the center and back (600 yards)
12 & Under - one loop of Mudge Ave. (808 yards)
All ages - Measured one mile about 6:30 PM.
Weather permitting, the pool is open ($) in July and August from 6:30
to 7:30 pm, after the races.
Prizes for longer road races - Gift certificates to the Asbury Grove
Coffee Shop. Open July and August on Fri, and Sat. from 8AM to 10:30PM.
Pancakes, eggs, muffins, sweet rolls.

June 25 - Racing Festival
5:30pm - Children's 3/4 mile race with trophies and refreshments. $2.00
entry fee.
6:30 pm - 10 Km Wiener Run - A developmental
road race through Bradley Palmer State Park, with refreshments, $6.
Ribbons to all finishers. 100% paved. All post enter.
