Grove Facilities Rentals The Grove provides an excellent opportunity to have an overnight retreat or planning session is a country setting. Facilities are available for rent to church groups and other private groups. The most frequent usage is by churches for an afternoon picnic during the summer (picnic area). In the picnic area are picnic tables, a ball field, a tennis court, a basketball court, bath house and olympic size swimming pool. The picnic area and ball field are rented together. The pool has a separate fee. Dorm Rentals Note: Until further notice the dorms are not available for overnight use. The dorms are available for retreats and camps from church groups (dorm pictures). A fee is charged for each camper per night. Most of the dorms have a small kitchen and dining room. A group could use the dorm eating facilities or use the larger kitchen and dining area of the Dining Room. Campers bring their own sleeping bags and linens. Showers and bathrooms are inside the dorms. There are other rest rooms behind the Dining Room and in the pool bath house. Apartment Rentals There are two units in the Wakefield House that are rented each summer. Each has one bedroom, dining room and kitchen. They are available from April to October. (Wakefield House) Cottage Rentals A limited number of private cottages are available for rent at various rates from their owners. They are available from April to October. Interested parties would need to make arrangements with the owner, complete a rental form, and make an appointment with the Admissions Committee. For rentals of more than 2 weeks, approval is needed before occupying the cottage. (Rental list)
