Chaplaincy
Rev. Bruce Arbour is our chaplain, now in his third year with us. He provides leadership in the spiritual life of the Grove, including weekly vesper services, Bible studies, and pastoral care. In addition to being the pastor of First United Methodist Church in Westfield, MA, he has also served as a chaplain to fire departments for over 20 years.
Camp Meeting Week
Held every August, Camp Meeting Week has stood at the core of our spiritual life for over 160 years. Open to all, come to be renewed, to worship, and to have fellowship.
Vespers Services
Every Sunday from Memorial Day through Labor Day, we gather at 4:00 in the Vesper Circle (or inside the chapel if it’s raining) for our vespers service. Conducted in the Methodist camp meeting style, we sing songs, pray, and hear a message, usually given by a guest preacher from a local church.
